Summary

AN ANALOGUE OF THE ELECTRO-WEAK INTERACTION IN SUPERFLUID HELIUM 3, WHICH LEADTO A SMALL MASS OF THE W-BOSON AND TO THE ZERO-CHARGE PHENOMENON, MODIFIES SIGNIFICANTLY THE INTERFACE OF THE A-AND B-PHASES AT LOW TEMPERATURES AND LOW PRESSURES. UNDER THESE CONDITIONS THE STRONG COUPLING CORRECTIONS ARE SMALL AND THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL DEGENERACY OF THE ORDER PARAMETER IN HELIUM 3-A. ONE OF THE COMPONENTS OF THE ORDER PARAMETER IN HELIUM 3-B, WHICH PLAYS THE ROLE OF THE W-BOSON IN HELIUM 3-A, DUE TO ITS SMALL MASS PENETRATES DEEPLY INTO THE A-PHASE THUS INCREASING THE SIZE OF THE DOMAIN WALL BETWEEN THE A-AND B-PHASES. THE BREAKING OF SYMMETRY IN THE DOMAIN WALL CORE, WHICH SHOULD OCCUR AT LOW PRESSURE, IS ALSO CONSIDERED.
