Summary
The oil crisis, the awareness of fossil fuel reserves being exhausted at an increasingly high speed and of systems that use these fuels finding it harder and harder to maintain a sustainable relation to the environment have given rise to the concept of hydrogen-operated power-generation system. The leading automobile manufacturers in the world have intensified their development projects of hydrogen as a fuel for their new vehicles.
