Summary
The determination of the ventilating air flow rate concerning the pollutants exhaust (harmful substances, humidity) from the room space is the essential task of ventilation process. The outside air flow rate is determined so that the concentration of the pollutant escaping in the space is to be lower or equal to the permitted concentration in the working area. The author presents a general-purpose relationship with respect to the calculation of the average concentration during the defined time interval with variable conditions of the pollutants production or ventilation.
