Summary

A helium cryogenic system for the superconducting cavity of a synchrotron light source provides a maximum cooling power of 450 W at 4.5 K. The paper shows the implementation for stability and reliability of the cryogenic system for a long-term operation to meet the strict requirements from the superconducting cavity. Considerations for system protection are indicated. The control architecture and some pre-test results are presented.
