Improvement of compression refrigeration machine using environmentally friendly working fluid.
Number: pap. n. 142
Author(s) : BAYDAK Y.
Summary
In recent years, the leading global companies are focused on the production of domestic compression refrigeration units, so their efforts are aimed at developing safe for residents and the Earth's ozone layer refrigerants. Having analyzed the total potential of different refrigerants and their mixtures, the author can considers that the most promising refrigerant mixture today is CFC R152a and R600a, the so-called synthesized C1. Its application in compression refrigeration units allowed reducing the daily consumption of electric energy by engine compressor on 5%. As for the energy efficiency of the mixture C1, the experimental tests performed on hermetic compressor showed that dependences of its cooling efficiency and refrigerating coefficient of refrigeration machine at the CFCs boiling temperatures range that are specific to compression refrigeration units, correspond to the same parameters of R134a.
