Summary

The influence of the volume fraction of the oxide core on the strain endurance of the critical-current density at 0 T at 77 K was investigated. It was demonstrated that the strain endurance of the critical current can be raised by reducing the volume fraction of oxide, due to enhanced compressive residual strain in the oxide which is introduced during cooling from the heat treatment temperature to 77 K.
