Summary
In compliance with increased need for human comfort, prevention of climate change and protection of the ozone layer, new regulations governing energy saving will be in force in the near future; new technologies are being developed to improve the efficiency of the equipment. The paper introduces some recent technologies and future trends which address these issues and improve comfort.
