SIMPLE RESTRICTION OF FRESH AIR SUPPLY TO REDUCE HEATING AND COOLING ENERGY WILL LEAD TO POOR AIR QUALITY AND RELATED PROBLEMS. ASHRAE 62-1989-E AND OTHER CODES PERMIT A HIGH PROPORTION OF AIR RECIRCULATION WHERE THIS CAN BE SATISFACTORILY CLEANED. THE REMOVAL OF SOLID PARTICLES IT NOT SUFFICIENT.
