Summary

WEAR AND DEFECTS IN TUBING WILL AFFECT THE EDDY CURRENTS SET UP WHEN A MAGNETIC PROBE IS INSERTED. THE TRACE IS PROJECTED ONTO A CATHODE RAY TUBE FOR IMMEDIATE DIAGNOSIS, AND CAN BE RECORDED ON VIDEO TAPE. FAULTS CAN BE LOCATED ACCURATELY. THE PROBE SHOULD BE AS NEAR TO THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE TUBE AS POSSIBLE. A.R.T.
