Summary

THE AUTHORS GIVE THE RESULTS OF A STUDY OF THE THERMAL AND ENERGY INFLUENCE OF THE REFRIGERANT FLOW THROUGH THE EXPANSION DEVICE OF THE CONDENSER (CAPILLARY TUBE) TOWARDS THE EVAPORATOR, WHEN THE COMPRESSOR OF A LOW-TEMPERATURE REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET IS SHUT DOWN. THE SUPPRESSION OF THIS FLOW MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO DECREASE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY 28 TO 43 %. THE DIAGRAM OF THE TEST RIG IS GIVEN. C.C.
