Summary
Results are presented of studies on the influence of the control of thermostatic expansion valves on the energy characteristics of the refrigeration machine of a frozen food cabinet. The relation of the operation-time coefficient, of the mean value of the electricity consumed, of the energy consumption and of the superheat setting of the thermostatic expansion valve are shown. A control method is proposed, which is based on the analysis of the variations in the superheat of the refrigerant in the evaporator. C.C.
