Indoor air quality and building pressurization with variable air volume systems.
Author(s) : SAUER H. J. Jr, DELP W. W., HOWELL R. H.
Summary
Reports on methodology developed to assist the designer in selecting the necessary component sizes to develop a variable-air volume air-conditioning plant. The results provide the design engineer with considerable guidance as to the appropriate sizes of fans, dampers, variable-air volume boxes, and ducts for maintaining required outside air quantities, proper building pressures, and minimum-energy consumption.
