Summary

The paper is about the mathematical models of the absorber and desorber of an absorption-compression heat pump. Two kinds of models are detailed. One is based on coupled heat and mass transfers which occur in the liquid solution and in the vapour; the other uses simple hypotheses where the reactor area is not taken into account and allows fast simulations before the design is made. The influence of the model's features on global results of the whole cycle is presented.
