AN INVESTIGATION TO THE DIFFERENCES IN QUALITY BETWEEN CARROTS FROM SEVERAL ORIGINS IN THE NETHERLANDS DID NOT GIVE SIGNIFICANT RESULTS. CARROTS ARE STORED ON VERY LOW AND VERY HIGH RELATIVE HUMIDITY IN ORDER TO EXTEND THE PROCESSING PERIOD WHICH NOW IS LIMITED TO THE LATEST HARVESTING DAY.
