Summary
Seed potato tubers were stored in a storehouse at 2, 6, 10 and 14 °C, at relative air humidity of about 90% and in a clamp under traditional cover with straw and soil. It was found that variable storage conditions modified the physiological state of seed tubers. High storage temperature delayed emergence and increased the number of stems per plant.
