Summary
A part of solar radiation falling onto a glazed surface is reflected, one part is absorbed by the glass and one part penetrates the glass. Solar radiation penetration through a glazed surface near water surfaces depends on a series of factors. Among others, it depends on solar radiation reflection from water surface. The formed mathematical model comprised the complex interaction of relevant parameters and an example is given for the influence of the water surface presence on reflection, absorption and penetration of solar radiation for the single vertical south-oriented glass near water surface on the rivers Sava or Danube in the vicinity of Belgrade.
