Initial research on failure prediction in refrigeration systems.

Summary

Using the wavelet analysis method to predict failures in a refrigeration system is presented. Wavelet transformation as a new technique of signal analysis establishes a variable analysis window in time-frequency localization which has a variable focus characteristics. It can use the short time window to subtly analyze the signal's frequency change. Analysis under laboratory conditions was performed in order to validate its feasibility and validity.
