Instability behaviour of superconductor wires/cylinders under finite linear thermal disturbance.
Author(s) : UNAL A., CHYU M. C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The mechanism of quenching and recovery of superconductivity is investigated by solving the transient two-dimensional heat conduction equation with or without volumetric heating, and fixed or moving boundary. A criterion with regard to different modes of behaviour is developed.
