Summary

LOCALIZATION OF PLASTIC DEFORMATION IN SUPERCONDUCTORS IS CONSIDERED ; CRITERIA FOR PLASTIC FLOW INSTABILITY (INTERMITTENT FLOW) WITH THERMAL FLUCTUATION MECHANISM OF DISLOCATIONS OVERCOMING POTENTIAL BARRIERS. IT IS SHOWN THAT, DEPENDING ON THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION PARAMETERS, AT TEMPERATURES BELOW TRANSITION TEMPERATURE THERE IS ONE, TWO (OR NONE) INTERSECTION POINTS OF THE CRITICAL VALUES FOR THE UNSTABLE PLASTIC FLOW STRESS FOR THE CRYSTALS IN THE, RESPECTIVELY, SUPERCONDUCTIVE AND NORMAL PHASES.
