Summary

THE STABILITY OF THE RESISTIVE STATE OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL SUPERCONDUCTORS RELATIVE TO PERTURBATION OF THE PLANE FLUXOID DENSITY IS STUDIED BY MEANS OF LINEAR ANALYSIS OF STABILITY OF THE DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS FOR THE VORTEX PLASMA DENSITY. THE SYSTEM STABILITY LOSS CURRENTAND EQUILIBRIUM VALUE OF THE VORTEX PLASMA DENSITY, AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF WHICH THE INSTABILITY DEVELOPS, ARE DETERMINED.
