Summary
In cryogenic engineering, various heat exchangers are used. Heat exchange surfaces (HES) are divided into three classes: A, B, C. When choosing an HES, it is practical to be able to use an absolute or relative value of intensity index of convection heat exchange. The article presents this selection method, taking into account the power consumption (and expense) due to the pressure drop.
