Summary
A water film in the cold stream of a static plate heat exchanger enhances the heat transfer rate between the air streams. The influence of the fluid film thermal resistance is analysed in this paper; temperature distribution and enthalpic efficiency were obtained in the range of temperature usual in civil applications.
