Summary

THE DIFFERENT SECTIONS OF THE FORCED-CONVECTION AIR-COOLING EVAPORATORS ARE SUBMITTED TO A NON-UNIFORM AIR CIRCULATION. THE THERMAL LOAD AT THE RIGHT OF THESE SECTIONS IS NOT UNIFORM. IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT TO BALANCE THE PRESSURE LOSSES OF THE REFRIGERANT IN EACH SECTION OF THE EVAPORATOR. THIS LED TO THE DESIGN OF EVAPORATORS WHOSE DISTRIBUTOR TUBES ARE OF DIFFERENT LENGTHS. INTERESTING TESTS AND COMPARISONS WERE CARRIED OUT. AN APPLICATION FOR A PATENT WAS FILED IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA.
