DESCRIPTION OF THE DESIGN OF A WATER-AMMONIUM ABSORPTION SOLAR REFRIGERATOR WITH INTERMITTENT OPERATION. THE SOLAR COLLECTOR HAS A LOW THERMAL INERTIA. HEAT PIPES ARE USED FOR HEATING THE GENERATOR, IN DAYTIME, AND FOR THE COOLING OF THE ABSORBER, AT NIGHT. RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT ON THE COLLECTOR-GENERATOR LOOP WITH A SINGLE-GLAZED COLLECTOR.
