This book includes the papers presented during the conference, held in Beijing, China, in April 1993. They were on the replacement of CFCs by substitutes in domestic and commercial refrigerators and freezers, in refrigerating machines and in air conditioners. The mixtures and lubricating oils are also dealt with. Most of these papers will be abstracted in the bulletin.
