Investigation of suction pressure pulsation in a rotary compressor.

Number: pap. ID: 224

Author(s) : LV H., XIE L., CHEN Z., et al.

Summary

Suction pressure pulsation in a rotary compressor is an important effective factor to suction mass flow. In this paper, based on one type of rotary compressor, by using fluid analysis software Star-CD, rotary compressing process was simulated via dynamic mesh; pressure pulsation law at suction port of cylinder was achieved, and compared with pressure pulsation data measured by NI data acquisition system, the simulated and measured results show that they comply well with each other.
