Summary

A STUDY WAS DONE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF TWO-AND THREE-PARAMETER EQUATIONS OF STATE TO CALCULATE THE COMPRESSIBILITY FACTOR OF CRYOGENIC FLUIDS ALONG THE SATURATION LOCI. THE TWO-PARAMETER EQUATIONS CONSIDERED ARE VAN DER WAALS AND REDLICH-KWONG EQUATIONS OF STATE. THE THREE-PARAMETER EQUATION REPRESENTED IS THE GENERALIZED BENEDICT-WEBB-RUBIN EQUATION LEE AND KESLER. SEVEN CRYOGENIC FLUIDS WERE TESTED: OXYGEN, HYDROGEN, HELIUM, NITROGEN, ARGON, NEON, AND AIR.
