THE PAPER DESCRIBES A NEW METHOD OF OBTAINING AN OPTIMUM SET OF COEFFICIENTS IN THE ORIGINAL BWR EQUATION USING THE VAPOUR AND LIQUID DENSITIES IN THE SATURATED REGION. A STEP TO FURTHER IMPROVE ITS APPLICABILITY UTILIZING THE HIGH ACCURACY EQUATIONS OF STATE FOR PURE SUBSTANCE IS ALSO DETAILED. BWR COEFFICIENTS ARE FOUND TO BROADLY REPRODUCE SATISFACTORILY THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA OF PVT RELATION IN THE SATURATED AND SUPERHEATEDE THE ACCURACY OF VAPOUR-LIQUID EQUILIBRIA FOR BINARY SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN ALSO VERIFIED FOR MORE THAN 500 EXPRMNLONS FURTHERMORE, THE SECOND VIRIAL COEFFICIENT IS CALCULATED AND COMPARED WITH THE VALUES IN LITERATURE.
