A VOLUME-TRANSLATED PENG-ROBINSON EQUATION OF STATE WAS MODIFIED BY ADDING A QUANTUM CORRECTION TERM TO EXTEND ITS APPLICATION TO THE REPRESENTATION OF THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES FOR FLUIDS AT CRYOGENIC CONDITIONS. THE RESULTING EQUATION WAS TESTED FOR A NUMBER OF FLUIDS, INCLUDING HYDROGEN, HELIUM, NEON, ARGON, NITROGEN AND METHANE.
