Summary

A SET OF BASIC EQUATIONS FOR THE THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF AIR COOLING COILS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE HAVE BEEN ANALYSED IN DETAIL. USING THIS CONCEPT, THE INVESTIGATION OF SOME BASIC PROBLEMS IN THE THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF WATER-COOLED COILS HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT. QUESTIONS EXISTING IN THE CURRENT CALCULATION OF COOLING COILS ARE POINTED OUT.
