Summary
The heat pipe-based isothermal panel as a cold or hot surface is an attractive component of sales cabinets for chilled and frozen products, electronic equipment cooling, or as a heater for drying systems. The experimental data obtained for "Spaghetti" SS/ammonia heat pipes and aluminium flat heat pipe panels show its high efficiency and operability. The temperature difference on the whole surface of these panels are less then 3 deg C for the heat flux transferred up to 30 watts for different panel orientation in space.
