Summary
Closed two-phase thermosiphons are very simple structures, easy to manufacture and of low cost. However their internal thermodynamics behaviour is quite complicated. Numerous experimental investigations are reported in literature. In recent years, the experimental correlation of conventional vertical thermosiphons were observed and put in order once again. The authors summarize two recent experimental research results for pool boiling heat transfer, in Zhejiang University.
