Summary

THE PROBLEM OF LAMINAR FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER IN A POROUS ANNULUS WITH WALLS OF DIFFERENT PERMEABILITY IS CONSIDERED ASSUMING NEGLIGIBLE VISCOUS DISSIPATION AND DIFFERENT CONSTANT TEMPERATURES FOR THE TWO WALLS. THE VELOCITY COMPONENTS AND TEMPERATURE ARE ASSUMED IN A FORM WHICH MAKES THE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS INDEPENDENT OF THE REYNOLDS NUMBERS OF THE CROSS FLOW. THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IS SHOWN FOR VARIOUS VALUES OF PRANDTL NUMBER, INJECTION AND SUCTION PARAMETERS.
