Summary

DESCRIBES THE FINDINGS OF A DESK STUDY OF LEAKAGE OF INDUSTRIAL AND WAREHOUSE BUILDINGS BASED ON A COMPUTER MODEL TESTED AGAINST MEASURED DATA. PRESSURE COEFFICIENTS FOR SHED-TYPE BUILDINGS ARE ALSO USED. STATES THE STUDY REVEALS HOW DIFFERENT PARAMETERS AFFECT LEAKAGE. APART FROM THE LEAKAGE COEFFICIENT, NOTE: BUILDING LENGTH, WIDTH AND HEIGHT, WIND FORCE AND PREVAILING DIRECTION, SHIELDING EFFECT OF VEGETATION AND OTHER BUILDINGS, INDOOR/OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE. NOTES THAT THIS IMPLIES THAT SHED TYPE BUILDINGS FOR DIFFERENT PURPOSES WILL THEREFORE HAVE DIFFERENT INDOOR TEMPERATURES AND LEAKAGE RATES EVEN IF THEY ARE OF THE SAME CONSTRUCTION.
