SERVICES FOR THE NEW GALLERY FOR THE OIL PAINTINGS OF JMW TURNER PROVIDE FOR THE MAXIMUM USE OF DAYLIGHT, RESTRICTING THIS WHEN TOO BRIGHT AND SUPPLEMENTING WITH BALANCED COLOUR ARTIFICIAL LIGHT WHEN NECESSARY. THIS GAVE EXTRA PROBLEMS WITH THE AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM. A DUAL VAV SYSTEM IS USED, TO GIVE CONSTANT CONTROL OF TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY. A.R.T.
