Summary
WITHIN ONE OR TWO YEARS AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MUSEUM, THE CONCRETE, WALLPAPER AND OTHER BUILDING MATERIALS GIVE OFF SUBSTANCES THAT CAN HAVE A HARMFUL EFFECT ON WORKS OF ART, SO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IS GENERALLY OPERATED DURING THIS INTERVAL, WITHOUT USING THE BUILDING FOR DISPLAYING ART OBJECTS. THE PAPER PROPOSES A METHOD FOR INTRODUCING FRESH AIR INTO THE BUILDING AS A WAY OF ACCELERATING THE GENERATION OF THESE HARMFUL SUBSTANCES. IT ALSO PROPOSED A METHODFOR RAISING THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE THE BUILDING.
