Summary
A CRYOSTAT OPERATING FROM 1.5 TO 400 K IS DESCRIBED, IN WHICH A SAMPLE MAY BE COOLED DOWN TO 1.5 K AND RECOVERED AGAIN AT ROOM TEMPERATURE IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS, WITH A HELIUM BOIL OFF OF ONLY 0.8 DM3. SIMPLE CONSTRUCTION AND EASY ACCESSIBILITY TO ALL PARTS ARE SALIENT FEATURES.
