Summary

THE LOW-FREQUENCY RESPONSE OF A SUPERCONDUCTING MICROBRIDGE TO A WEAK ALTERNATING CURRENTIS CALCULATED. A NUMBER OF ENERGY GAP SPATIAL MODES CORRESPONDING TO THE EIGENVALUES OF RELAXATION TIME OPERATION CONTRIBUTE TO THE IMPEDANCE. AT LOW FREQUENCIES AND CURRENT THROUGH THE CONTACT CLOSE TO THE CRITICAL ONE, THE MAIN CONTRIBUTION TO THE IMPEDANCE IS GIVEN BY A SINGLE MODE WHOSE RELAXATION TIME TENDS TO INFINITY AS THE CURRENT TENDS TO ITS CRITICAL VALUE.
