Low oxygen storage of "Ginger Gold" apples.

Author(s) : BARDEN C. L.

Summary

Greene and Autio (1996) report a short storage potential in 0 °C air. There is interest in this cultivar for both fresh market and processing. Typically, summer apples do not store well; however, due to interest in at least short-term storage of this cultivar, experiments were designed to study the storage potential in air as well as in controlled atmosphere storage regimes.
