Summary

THE REFRIGERATION PLANT AND THE COLD ROOMS OF THE TEST STATION FOR RAILWAY VEHICLES AS FOR COLD BRITTLENESS AND THE RESISTANCE TO VIBRATIONS AND FOR THE COOLING OF BULKY PRODUCTS ARE DESCRIBED. THE VEHICLES TESTED WERE COOLED TO 163 K (-110 DEG C) WITH MTHM1-25R AIR CYCLE REFRIGERATING MACHINES. THE TEST RESULTS ARE GIVEN. THE STATION CAN BE USED FOR THE TESTING OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS, WHOLE PLANT AND COMPONENTS, WORKING UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF FAR-NORTH AND EAST OF USSR.
