Magnet safety and stability related coolant states: critical fluid dynamics at peak flux.
Author(s) : RAVIKUMAR K. V., CARANDANG R. M., FREDERKING T. H. K.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A severe compromising of safety takes place at the peak heat flux of nucleate boiling. The paper addresses the consequences arising from bubble frequency results, including model calculations for the effective masses of the saturated fluids involved in the two-phase transport at the peak flux.
