MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF ALUMINIUM ALLOYS.
[In Russian. / En russe.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY OF ALUMINIUM-MAGNESIUM SOLID SOLUTIONS IS MEASURED AT TEMPERATURES OF 20 TO 300 K. A NONREGULAR CONTRIBUTION TO ORBITAL SUSCEPTIBILITY FROM ELECTRON STATES NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF SECOND AND THIRD BANDS IN THE SYMMETRY LINE WX OF THE BRILLOUIN ZONE IS CALCULATED. BASED ON THE CALCULATED DATA, THE SPECIFIC FEATURES OF SUSCEPTIBILITY ARE IDENTIFIED AS ELECTRON TOPOLOGICAL TRANSITIONS FOR 2.2 AND 6.7 AT% MAGNESIUM. THE POSITIONS OF CORRESPONDING CRITICAL POINTS IN THE ALUMINIUM SPECTRUM ARE FOUND, AND THE PARAMETERS OF ELECTRON SCATTERING BY MAGNESIUM AND ZINC IMPURITIES ARE ESTIMATED.
