Summary

THE TUNNEL CURRENT-VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS OF A SYSTEM WITH DIELECTRIC CORRELATIONS DEPEND SIGNIFICANTLY ON THE SIGN OF THE DIELECTRIC ORDER PARAMETER. THE TRANSITION (BELOW) CRITICAL TEM-PERATURE FROM A PHASE WITH A LARGER DIELECTRIC GAP TO ONE WITH A SMALLER GAP, CAUSED BY THE APPEARANCE OF SUPERCONDUCTIVITY IN THE SYSTEM, LEADS TO THE APPEARANCE OF SINGULARITIES OF THE SUPERCONDUCTINGTYPE ON THE TUNNEL CURRENT-VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS. IN THE REGION WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SINGULARITIES RELATED TO THE DIELECTRIC SPECTRUM, THE SPREAD OF THE DIELECTRIC ORDER PARAMETER DUE TO THE NONHOMOGENEOUS COMPOSITION OF THE SYSTEM MAY WEAKLY AFFECT THE GAP DUE TO THE LARGE SUPERCONDUCTING CORRELATION LENGTH. THE CURRENT-VOLTAGE CHARACTERISTICS FOR SIN AND FOR THE NONSYMMETRIC SIS JUNCTIONS ARE NONSYMMETRIC, WHEREAS THEY ARE SYMMETRIC FOR SYMMETRIC SIS JUNCTIONS.
