MEASUREMENT INVESTIGATIONS CARRIED OUT ON HEAT PUMPS DRIVEN BY NATURAL GAS.

Author(s) : GROSSHANS D.

Summary

A TABLE SHOWS THE GAS-DRIVEN HEAT PUMPS INSTALLED IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY IN 1984. IT IS INTERESTING TO SURVEY THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TECHNOLOGY. FOR THIS, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO EQUIP THESE PLANT WITH LOW COST MEASURING DEVICES, EASY TO HANDLE, IN ORDER TO OBSERVE OPERATING RESULTS. THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE MICROPROCESSOR MEASURING AND DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM. A GAS-ENGINE DRIVEN AND A GAS ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP, EQUIPPED WITH FAN VENTILATED EVAPORATORS WITHFINS ARE DESCRIBED. IN ONE APPLICATION POWER IS TAKEN FROM THE ENVIRONMENT VIA A ROOF ABSORBER. ANOTHER PLANT USES THE HEAT OF PURIFIED SEWAGE WATER.
