Summary

THESE HUMIDITY MEASUREMENTS COMBINED WITH THE MEASUREMENT OF OTHER AIR AND HEAT PARAMETERS CONTRIBUTE TO THE DETERMINATION OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DIFFERENT UNITS TESTED. ONE CHARACTERISTIC PARAMETER OF AIR HUMIDITY IS THE DEWPOINT. TO MEASURE THIS, A CONDENSATION HYGROMETER OR A SORPTION HYGROMETER, COMMONLY CALLED LITHIUM CHLORIDE HYGROMETER, CAN BE USED ; THE FORMER, MORE ACCURATE BUT MORE EXPENSIVE, IS USED FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS. FOR COMMON MEASUREMENTS, LITHIUM CHLORIDE PROBES CAN BE USED, BUT THEY ARE SENSITIVE TO A NUMBER OF PARAMETERS WHICH ARE IMPORTANT TO CONTROL. THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY IS TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF THESE PARAMETERS AND SUGGEST SUITABLE METHODS OF USAGE.
