MEASURING THE OSCILLATION OF SMALL HERMETIC COMPRESSORS.

Author(s) : BLAHA M.

Summary

THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY IS TO PRESENT A MEASURING METHOD FOR THE OSCILLATION OF SMALL HERMETIC COMPRESSORS WITH A MEASURING PLATE AND TO IDENTIFY THE EXCITATION FORCES AND MOMENTS OF THE SYSTEM ACTING IN COMPRESSOR CRANKCASE WITHOUT DESTRUCTIVE DISMANTLING OF THE COMPRESSOR UNDER TEST. DURING THE OPERATION OF THE COMPRESSOR, THE OSCILLATION ENERGY IS TRANSFERRED TO THE RIGID MEASURING PLATE, MOUNTED ON FOUR SPIRAL SPRINGS. THE PLATE USED IS MADE OF STEEL AND ITS WEIGHT IS 28.6 KG. THE WEIGHT OF THE COMPRESSORS RANGE BETWEEN 6 AND 9 KG. IN THE TEST THE COMPRESSOR WAS CONSIDERED RIGIDLY COUPLED TO THE MEASURING PLATE.
