Summary
Cool Up’s third MENA Region Cooling Status Report addresses the urging challenges posed by extreme heat in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and how sustainable cooling and natural refrigerants can play a key role in breaking the vicious cycle of cooling.
This year’s report issue 3 builds on the previous reports of this series by providing a comprehensive status update on progress, opportunities and insights of the market and technology, as well as the policy and financing landscapes of sustainable cooling in the region.
Additionally, it spotlights the adverse effects of extreme heat and features targeted mitigation and adaptation strategies from the MENA region and beyond which use sustainable cooling practices to combat extreme heat.
