Summary
THE AUTHORS ESTABLISHED A THEORY OF HEAT EXCHANGE WITH CONDENSATION ON HORIZONTAL FINNED TUBES, ALLOWING FOR SURFACE TENSION FORCES OF TEMPERATURE VARIATION ALONG THE FINS, WITH VARIABLE CROSS-SECTIONS, AND OF THE CONDENSATE LAYER BETWEEN THE FINS. THIS CALCULATION HAS BEEN APPLIED TO VAPOUR FILM CONDENSATION ON FINNED TUBES.
