Type of article: Article

Summary

The method is based on the difference in survival of androgenetic haploids, obtained after inseminating eggs, carrying X-ray-inactivated genome, with native and cryopreserved spermatozoa. The results obtained strongly suggest that, following cryopreservation, genetic defects may be developed in a some carp spermatozoa.
