DESCRIPTION OF A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE MINIMUM ECONOMICALLY ALLOWABLE LEVEL OF THERMAL INSULATION WITH WHICH, BY MEANS OF A COMPARISON OF THE COSTS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY THERMAL INSULATION AND A DECREASE IN REFRIGERATION COSTS, TO EVALUATE THE THERMAL PROTECTION PROPERTIES OF THE STRUCTURES OF OPERATING COLD STORES IN COMPARISON OF THOSE DESIGNED AND ALSO WITH STANDARD (OPTIMUM) VALUES RECENTLY ISSUED. AFTER THE RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION OF THE THERMAL PROTECTION LEVEL OF ROOMS, THE AUTHORS INTEND TO DETERMINE THE USEFULNESS OF THE INCREASE IN THE LEVEL AND TO SELECT A METHOD FOR IMPROVING THERMAL INSULATION.
